The 53rd annual Grammy’s Awards was a good night for Hip Hop as Dr. Dre found himself back on stage performing live for the first time in over 10 years along side of [twitter=Eminem]Eminem[/twitter] and Rihanna, performing “Love The Way You Lie Pt.2″ and “I Need a Doctor.”

Eminem took home “Rap Album of the Year,” Recovery was nominated along with The Roots’ How I Got Over, Jay-Z’s Blueprint III and debut albums from Drake and B.o.B., Thank Me Later and The Adventures of Bobby Ray respectively.

Eminem also won”Best Rap Solo” for the Recovery song”Not Afraid.”

Hip Hop superstar Jay-Z won a Grammy for ”Empire State of Mind” featuring Alicia Keys in the ”Best Sung/Rap Collaboration” and ”The Best Rap Song” categories.”

“Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group” was also won by Jay-Z for ”On to The Next One” featuring Swizz Beatz.

Other notable Grammy Winners
Philadelphia, Hip Hop group The Roots and R&B singer John Legend pulled in three Grammy Awards for their 2010 album, Wake Up!

”Best Male R&B Vocal Performance” went to Usher for the song ”There Goes My Baby”. Usher also won ”Best Contemporary R&B Album” for his Raymond Vs Raymond album.
